Was on a business trip from Australia and find myself in this lovely hotel. The location is very good. Right in the heart of Ogden City and right next to the Historic 25th Street, you can walk about 5 minutes to the CBD centre. Customer service is a step above what I have been accustomed to even in the best US hotels. The Vietnamese ladies probably know what they are doing to the customer .. incredible . Thank you ! Jade

This property is in need of total renovation and new management who cares. Stayed there late December for 4 nights and were promised everyday housekeeping on check in. We received housekeeping only one day after talking to a @supervisor” in the hallway. Other days we talked to cleaners on the floor but still no service. Other nights we got home from visiting the kids and we had to go back to the front desk to collect towels etc. Ordered breakfast in the Starbucks operated restaurant. Only about three people in there. 30 minutes later I was walking out in disgust and they rushed over to apologise saying they forgot the order. there were only 3 customers in the place. What does it take?? And the bathroom—paint peeling off the shower floor and blocking the drainpipe. Lavatory—out of the 80’s—so low that it is uncomfortable to use. Have you heard of chair height loos?

I stayed at the Courtyard for one night during a business trip. The hotel is pretty standard but good. Nice rooms, friendly staff.

The good: This is a great property. Wonderful location just behind the 25th street area, very modern decor, very clean and in excellent repair. I'm guessing this was converted from a former full-service hotel with a restaurant, because the Bistro area is very spacious. Our room was spotless, and even the bathroom showed almost no signs of wear—it was very nice. Everything functioned perfectly. The bad: Seems highly understaffed. Front desk only had 1 of 3 positions staffed all weekend. Bistro was well-staffed Saturday evening, but on a crazy busy Friday it had one poor guy holding down the fort. Mornings were nuts—two girls trying to serve everyone. Hot meals were taking upwards of 20 minutes to come out, and we waited 15 minutes for HOT TEA after ordering. It's hot water in a cup. This made the Bistro a really hit-or-miss proposition, and it's the main reason I stay at Courtyards vs another brand. The ugly: We were in during some kids' hockey tournament thing, and management apparently felt it was fine to let the kids set up field hockey games in the corridors. Seriously, to get to an elevator meant navigating at least one, if not two, games of hallway hockey. There were also playing on the guest room floors. Absolutely nuts. This makes me wonder if anyone is actually managing the hotel, and is a main reason I'd hesitate to book here again. I could understand giving the kids a ballroom or something if that's what you want to do, but nope. The kids played in the hallways while their parents drank in the Bistro and ignored them completely.

Terrible. Upon arrival we checked in, in the middle of the night realized their air conditioning didn't work. Called in the AM and were informed "someone should have told you when you checked in our air conditioning is down". Except it wasn't down it was only down in the guest rooms. Contacted the front desk because we were not informed of this at any point prior to check in or when checking in. It was mid-80s during the day to the point where we had to leave the small cracked window open (with not screen so this was not possible at night due to bugs flying in) and the door to the hallway open while they hosted a Narcotics Anonymous event all weekend downstairs while traveling with kids. We traveled out of state for a job for our teen daughters who assist at a convention and everywhere within the vicinity was sold out so we couldn't move hotels. I tried to get the management to refund us part of the nightly rate and they refused and gave us a "generous" 7000 bonvoy points "toward a future stay." So I have to spend more money so hopefully the next franchise treats us better. Ridiculous. Never again and probably never in a Marriott again since they aren't corporate controlled anymore each individual property manager can choose how they treat their guests.

We really have nothing to complain about. I was clean, quiet, and very relaxing. Great location close to so many restraints. We would definently stay again.

The room was extremely hot. We had to use a dusty old box fan to keep the room cooler. It didn’t work and was just very noisy. The pool was playing loud music at 5:00 in the morning. Very disappointed, as we have stayed there before and never had a problem. One of the two elevators was out of order, as well.
