They still haven't fixed the air conditioner in room 207. It's been making noise for 4 months already. There's a train station and a supermarket nearby. Close to the city center.

L’auberge est chouette, tout est propre et la présence d’espaces dédiés est très appréciée (wellness center, reading room, y-hive).
La cuisine est bien équipée est très grande, le rooftop est très chouette (vraiment, de quoi y passer de bonnes soirées!)
Les lits sont confortables et l’auberge très propre.
Cependant j’ai eu un peu de mal à faire des connaissances par rapport à d’autres auberges de jeunesse où il est plus facile de faire de nouvelles rencontres.

Brisbane YHA was a great base for my weekend trip to the city. As a female solo traveller looking for a cheap bed, it served its purpose nicely. Whilst the location is a short walk from the CBD, and close to the Southbank, the surrounding area felt quite run-down, and was basically just a stretch of backroads lined with backpacker hostels, hence didn’t feel super safe at nighttime. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, with privacy curtains and a good range of charging outlets by the bedside. It had a modern feel, and the bathrooms were well-maintained, though a little further from the room than I would’ve liked. I would’ve liked a more social atmosphere, but everyone in my dorm seemed to be doing their own thing/keen to keep to themselves. There was parking on-site, however it is an extra $20 per night, but felt more secure than leaving my car on the roadside. Overall, a good stay, thanks :)

One of the nicest hostel facilities in Brisbane, nice rooftop, but the bunk beds are a little hard to climb into and rooms are not well ventilated so if someone stinks everyone can smell it. The room I stayed in had a noise problem with the door shaking every 2 minutes very loud due to wind or something, ear plugs are definitely needed to stay here.
