Kick off the festive season with a touch of Christmas magic.

Kick off the festive season with a touch of Christmas magic.

❤️ This year, the hotel will host two Christmas events in support of its official charity partner, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. 🎵 The events include a concert at The Promenade featuring singer Alexandra Burke and Anglo-Italian soprano Carly Paoli, and a festive afternoon tea with special guest, author David Walliams. 💗 All proceeds from the events will be donated to Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice as part of the hotel’s charity project this year. 🍰 In addition, the hotel will host a special afternoon tea for the hospice’s families and children, inviting them to help decorate The Ark Christmas tree and hold the Noah’s Ark Winter Ball in the ballroom. 📖 On December 1, David Walliams will host a children’s afternoon tea, offering a fun literary experience. He will read chapters from his new book, The World’s Worst Detective, and each child will receive a signed book as a souvenir. Tickets are £75 for children and £150 for adults, and include a festive-themed afternoon tea. 🎄 The Dorchester’s festive decorations are designed by the hotel’s florist, Philip Hammond. The decorations include a 15-foot British Nordmann fir tree in the lobby to welcome guests. 🌄 The hotel also has a Christmas cabin where children can write letters to Santa and send them directly to the North Pole via the hotel’s exclusive post box. 🏨 To immerse guests in the festive atmosphere, The Dorchester is offering a festive stay package, which includes a variety of dining options, entertainment experiences, and special events. 🎈 Guests staying on Christmas Eve can join the hotel’s festive celebrations, enjoy a traditional Dorchester Christmas lunch, and watch live performances on Christmas Day. Famous Buildings In Finanicla District(LDN)

There are many historical monument and great architecture in London that's made of limestone or even sculptures that are sculpted from huge rocks. But do you know there are also alot of modern buildings being uprooted and are also very popular in the financial district. One of which that looks like a huge rocket, very distinctive, is The Gherkin located at 30 St Mary Axe, London which is a commercial skyscraper with also a restaurant and bar located at the top floors of the gherkin where you will be able to look over the city of London with the amazing unblocked panoramic views. We didn't have a chance to go up as we were there in the late morning and the building itself isn't open to public sadly. #ldninsider #london #cbd #buildings #skyscrapers #trip #tripblazers

Transport history spanning two centuries.

Exploring the London Transport Museum was an enlightening experience, delving into the rich tapestry of London's transport history spanning two centuries. The museum offered a fascinating insight into the evolution of the city's transportation systems, from horse-drawn carriages to cutting-edge trains and buses. Particularly impressive was the museum's ability to engage children, providing a comprehensive educational journey through the development of transport technology. Interactive exhibits and immersive displays brought to life the various modes of transportation that have shaped London's landscape over time. From steam engines to electric trams, the museum eloquently illustrated how innovation and technology have transformed the way Londoners move around their city. It was a captivating exploration of London's past and its enduring relationship with transport evolution. #Evolution #Museum #Vintage #Transport

Trafalgar Square at night

Address - Trafalgar Square, City of Westminster, Central London WC2N 5DN, United Kingdom Trafalgar Square is a huge open piazza that the public can access at any time of the day. This is a landmark with great historical significance as this was where the Battle of Trafalgar between the British Royal Navy and the French and Spanish navies occurred. We really enjoyed learning about its history and appreciating the beautiful architecture of the building designs here. My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #ldninsider #tripmoments #monument #historicallandmark #architecture #london #england

London's Most Picturesque Neighborhood

London's Most Picturesque Neighborhood

As a lover of exploring cities on foot, I can say that Marylebone offers the perfect blend of charm, history, and vibrant energy. One of the reasons I adore strolling through Marylebone is its architectural beauty. The elegant Georgian and Victorian buildings that line the streets are a sight to behold. The intricate details, grand facades, and colorful doors make me feel like I'm walking through a living museum. It's a place where history comes alive, and every corner tells a story. Another aspect that makes Marylebone so delightful to explore on foot is its vibrant atmosphere. The streets are lined with charming boutiques, independent cafes, and quaint bookshops. Some of my favs: • Monocle - cafe/magazine • Shreeji Newsagents - you can find books, magazines and zines here • Niwaki - a Japanese-style household shop

Notting Hill: London's Vibrant Neighborhood

Notting Hill: London's Vibrant Neighborhood

Notting Hill is a place that has captured my heart and soul. From the bustling Portobello Road Market to the picturesque streets lined with colorful houses, this neighborhood is a feast for the senses. Also, you'll find lots of antiques here! Notting Hill is more than just a pretty face. It's a place that celebrates art, culture, and diversity. The Museum of Brands is a testament to this, showcasing a fascinating collection of vintage packaging and advertisements that offer a glimpse into the past. Best time to visit: Notting Hill is crowded throughout the year but weekday mornings in the winter tend to be less hectic. Why not give it a shot this winter?! 😉

🇬🇧London|Tasty rice noodles in East London

Yun
⭐️ Overall rating: 4.5/5
🍽 Recommendation: yun cross-bridge rice noodle
💁 Service: good
💰 £20 per person
📍 Location: 204 Brick Ln, London E1 6SA
Yun is the newly opened Chinese restaurant on brick lane. The interior design looks good with green and pink. There are small tables or sofa tables which can provide different choices for small group or big group people.
Yun cross-bridge rice noodle is tasty and there are a variety of ingredients including chicken, pork, mushrooms and egg. The spicy beef rice noodle is also yummy and it contains lots of beef!
Please come and try and the food will never let you down.

The Crown

The Crown

Nice-looking corner pub with outdoor seating and street tables. Inside is a beautifully curved bowl-shaped bar and plenty of etched glass. I'd say there's been a fair amount of interior design done here, but it all looks classy. There's a bar area for drinkers and two dining areas for gastropub fans. The pub's a good one, if a little dark, and the food was very enjoyable. Clearly effort has gone in to creating the right mood. Sadly pretty standard. Siren and Deya stood out amongst London Pride and Hophead. Don't get me wrong, both of the latter are great pints, but they're everywhere. Also Amstel, Guinness and Peroni.

Mackbear Coffee Co. UK

#londontravel A lovely little coffee shop which serves a vast range of different coffees and beverages. They also serve gorgeous desserts too. We had the caramel and lemon doughnuts. There was plenty of seating indoors with outside seating too. Nice coffee and food - ambience is great too! Mackbear cafe is near Whitechapel underground station and the croissant is great with their coffee. Price about £3 each for the coffee & pastries.
