Gyeongbukgong Palace

Gyeongbukgong Palace is one of the palaces can be found in Seoul. This palace is located in 161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. This was the main royal palace during the Joseon Dynasty and was built in 1395 in northern part of Soeul, South Korea. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces. The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598). However, all of the palace buildings were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919). The Changing of the Guard is one of the most anticipated events in the palace. Watch this customary rite that has been performed since the 14th century during the Joseon dynasty. CREM CHIC CAFE

My favorite cafe in Myeongdong. Ambience is really cool and inviting. spacious and great to chill out with friends or family after a meal. we ordered Tiramisu, cheese cake and coffee. we love them all !! Do try if you are near the vicinity.

When all the cakes are black and white- cafe Nudake

This super cool cafe is in the chic Seongsudong district and is a short 10 minute walk from the Seongsu station. The one story building facade is beige in color with a giant red square facing the main road. It is a popular spot for taking photos so it can’t be missed. Once we walked inside the cafe, we noticed the very dim lighting that played a big contrast to the daylight outside. The large table in the middle of the cafe displayed at least 20 kinds of uniquely designed pastries, and almost 95 % of the pastries, including croissants, were black or white in color! Namhansanseong North Gate

A nice trail along the fortress. It was an easy enough hike and offers stunning views of Seoul and its environs. You really feel like you're in the middle of the mountains. Many people went there for picnics. It could get crowded to actually go up there, as in the street was quite congested so just keep that in mind. I'd suggest getting there early and leaving early.#awesomepic #couplestrip #deliciousfood

Korean Bukchon Hanok Traditional Village

Located between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and the Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is a place with a high concentration of traditional Korean houses and is also the most representative traditional residential area in Seoul. There are many historical sites, cultural heritage, and folk materials everywhere. Therefore, it is called the street museum in the city center. The characteristics of the Hanok in Bukchon can be summarized as "evolving old methods" and "decorative tendencies". Although it lacks some of the traditional Hanok's complete features, such as lower roof slopes, round beams, double eaves, and narrow but numerous rooms, the Bukchon Hanok embodies the structural and aesthetic beauty of Hanok. From the advertisements of Hanok at that time, it reflected the requirements of urban housing such as density and anonymity, and as a new type of urban housing, the Hanok in Bukchon continued to develop.

I visited Cheongdam-dong Luxury Street, which I don't usually go to, because there was a new dining restaurant. Should I say it's a little casual to call it dining? Here is Clareau(클라로) in Cheongdam-dong, where was better because I could enjoy single menus what I want at lunch casually, not a course meal. Located on the second floor of a fashion brand Blanc and Eclare, it is actually a restaurant made by a Korean famous celebrity named Jessica from Girls' Generation. This fashion brand on the first floor is also run by her, so I think she's interested in fashion and food in many areas. The meal started with a starter, and you can choose the second menu, the main menu, and the dessert, and it was a pleasant experience that you can choose the menu according to your preference, not the designated course. On that day, I started with a salad made of seasonal veggies with thyme dressing and had a slightly smoked Korean beef Hanwoo tartar as a second dish and black truffle with raw pasta as the main dish, and finally had a coriander pavlova for dessert. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent. It was not a restaurant to promote only the fame of its owner. If you think it's a restaurant run by a celebrity and visit with a misconception, you'll be mistaken. It is also equipped with a variety of wines, so there is a wide range of choices when pairing with food.
