Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Luxor, a historic city located on the east bank of the Nile River, has become the dream of many tourists with its unparalleled sunrise landscape. When the first ray of sunlight penetrates the morning mist and gently brushes over the towering stone pillars and mottled murals of the Luxor Temple, the whole world seems to be stained with a layer of gentle gold. As the sun gradually rises, the golden light spreads over the earth. Every detail of the Luxor Temple is given new life. The stone pillars and statues that have been eroded by wind and rain for thousands of years are more solemn and sacred in the morning light. At this moment, Luxor seems to have crossed the boundaries of time and space, making people involuntarily indulge in the glorious ancient Egyptian civilization. Whether for history lovers or those who pursue natural scenery, the sunrise in Luxor is an experience that cannot be missed.

Karnak Temple.

Karnak Temple.

Karnak Temple, located in the north of Luxor, Egypt, is a spectacular religious complex left over from the ancient Egyptian Empire. The temple is not only the center of worship for the sun god Amun, but also one of the largest religious buildings in ancient Egypt. History Middle Kingdom: Karnak Temple was built during the Middle Kingdom, around 2000 BC. It was part of Thebes, and over time, the temple was continuously expanded and modified, eventually becoming an important part of the capital Thebes during the New Kingdom. During the New Kingdom, especially from the 18th to the 20th dynasties, the temple underwent large-scale expansion. During this period, the temple became the most important religious center in the country, and many pharaohs expanded and decorated it. In the following millennia, despite multiple wars and natural disasters, Karnak Temple maintained its religious and political importance. Until the end of the 4th century AD, the spread of Christianity led to the gradual abandonment of the temple.

Felucca ride on the Nile River

Felucca ride must be included in the TO-DO list of activities to try during your visit in Luxor. You can try this activity from just one hour to even several days to travel from one city to another on these boats. Traditional wooden sailing vessels known as feluccas have been a fixture on the Nile River for centuries. I recommend to plan this activity close to the sunset. It is really beautiful to see the amazing colors in the sky. So do your research in advance about the exact time for the sunset during your visit. Some packages include a basic meal if you plan to stay for a long time. #createwithtrip #felucca #luxor #egypt

Luxor temple

Luxor temple is located at Luxor city. There are many people to visit this temple (field trip for children, tourists and local people). There are many students who study about drawing and they are painting the structure of the temple. Their drawings are so beautiful and creative. At the entrance, you can see many birds (I guess they are pigeons) over there,so you can take picture while birds are flying. #mytripvlog #egypt #luxor

Egypt | 10-Day Self-Drive Tour, Practical Tips to Avoid Scams

Egypt | 10-Day Self-Drive Tour, Practical Tips to Avoid Scams

Is Egypt worth visiting? Will you be scammed? Are there any pitfalls? I just came back from Egypt, and this article will tell you everything you need to know about traveling in Egypt! - 📖 About visas: There is no need to apply for an e-visa in advance, as it is a hassle. It is recommended to apply for a visa on arrival, but be sure to prepare $25 in cash, as the queue is short. - ⚠️ How to avoid scams 1️⃣ Don't talk to strangers. Once you have your own destination, just follow your own itinerary and ignore the locals around you. 2️⃣ Don't let locals take photos easily, or introduce locals who want to take photos of you as a "kindness". Whether they are tourists or staff at the scenic spot, they will basically ask you for a tip. 3️⃣ Try to shop in stores and keep evidence when negotiating prices, which is very useful. 4️⃣ If you have any problems, find the police. Egyptian tourist police are very responsible, very concerned about the needs of tourists, and very efficient. - 🚗 Tips for self-driving 1️⃣ Before renting a car, be sure to confirm the mileage of your travel destination. There is a mileage limit for car rentals in Egypt, but you can pay extra. 2️⃣ The number of people driving must be registered when renting a car. If an unregistered person drives and has an accident, the insurance will not cover it. 3️⃣ Gas and highway fees in Egypt are really cheap. 4️⃣ Be sure to find a regular parking lot. If you want to park on the side of the road, don't trust anyone other than the police or staff. 5️⃣ Be sure to pay attention to safety while driving. If you park temporarily on the side of the road, be sure to lock the car door. - 💰 About cash 1️⃣ If you can exchange currency at the airport, it is best to exchange some, as ATMs in Egypt are not very convenient, and many machines have limits. 2️⃣ Credit cards are very convenient. - 📅 Our itinerary Here are some itinerary suggestions. Day 1: Arrive in Cairo Day 2: Giza Pyramids - Egyptian Museum of Civilization - Khan el-Khalili Day 3: Drive from Cairo to Luxor (7-8 hours, mostly on the highway, pay attention to safety when leaving Cairo) Day 4: Hot air balloon - Luxor Temple - Karnak Temple - Nile River sunset Day 5: Drive from Luxor to Hurghada (about 4 hours, all on the highway) Day 6: Hurghada sea tour, you can dive, etc., very nice Day 7: Drive from Hurghada to Sharm El Sheikh, 10 hours in total, you can rest in Suez on the way, where seafood is very cheap Day 8: Sharm El Sheikh day tour, you can also go to sea here, and the cliff bar is a must-see Day 9: Petra, Jordan day tour Day 10: Drive 7 hours back to Cairo, return trip

This is Egypt

I was so happy to visit Egypt. This is the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor city. It was built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty. It is definitely HUGE and it was carved on the stones. 😱 The entrance fee cost less than 3 euros and you can go inside - unfortunately many os the statues inside were destroyed over time. Definitely worth the visit! #culturalattractions

I went to Egypt and broke up with my self-destructive life

I went to Egypt and broke up with my self-destructive life

When I set foot on the ancient land of Egypt, the mysterious atmosphere swept me into the torrent of history. When I walked into the Luxor Temple, the huge stone pillars towered into the clouds, with complex hieroglyphs and mythological patterns carved on them. The sunlight shone down, and the shadows of the stone pillars crisscrossed the ground, like the veins of time. These buildings, which have been eroded by wind and rain for thousands of years, still tenaciously tell the glory of ancient Egypt. In the Valley of the Kings, I explored the tombs where the pharaohs lay. The exquisite murals on the walls depict their achievements in life and their prayers for the afterlife. But when I stood in front of these magnificent tombs, I felt a little melancholy. The ancient Egyptian civilization was so brilliant, and the pharaohs spent their lives pursuing eternity, but they were eventually buried by time. I used to drift with the tide in the secular standards, pursuing those seemingly dazzling but actually empty goals. Now, I understand that life is short, and there is no need to be obsessed with illusions. In the days to come, I will cherish the present, and feel every moment of life purely, just like I am immersed in the history of Egypt at this moment. - 🗺️[My itinerary] Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and feel the unique atmosphere of the city, where ancient and modern intertwine. Day 2: Visit the Pyramid of Khufu in the morning, shop at the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar in the afternoon, and head to Sharm El Sheikh in the evening. Day 3: Visit the Old Market Mosque in the morning, and enjoy a relaxing time at the Farsha Cafe cliff bar in the afternoon. Day 4: Travel from Sharm El Sheikh to Luxor via Hurghada. Day 5: Explore the Valley of the Kings in the morning, and visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple in the afternoon. Day 6: Take a hot air balloon ride over Luxor, then head to the Abu Simbel Temple, and arrive in Aswan in the evening. Day 7: Visit the Philae Temple in the morning, go to the Nubian Village in the afternoon, and watch the sunset on the Nile River in the evening. Day 8: Return to Cairo from Aswan and visit the ancient city of Egypt. Day 9: Visit the Egyptian Museum and the Citadel of Saladin, then head to the airport and end the trip.
