for 4 euros, what you can do at venice is to visit this museum for music lovers. it was a pleasure getting to know how musical instruments had evolved over the years while here, and they had an assortment of them on display. We spent a day in the beautiful, historic, and romantic city of Venice. Despite being a cluster of over a hundred small islands, Venice is easy to get to - we took a bus from the mainland. The best way to explore Venice is on foot, and we joined a walking tour with a local guide who took us around the northern part of Venice. She explained a lot of interesting history about the foundation of the city, the expansion and decline of the Venetian Empire, the brotherhoods that once were present here, and the symbolism behind some statues. She also discussed the current threats of floods that the city faces. #italy #venice

#europetrip I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Italy, and I’m still in awe of the country’s incredible beauty, history, and culture. My journey began in Rome, where I explored iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and, of course, the Vatican. The city is a perfect blend of ancient history and vibrant modern life, with every street offering something new to discover. Next, I ventured to Florence, the heart of the Renaissance. The Uffizi Gallery was a highlight, filled with masterpieces by Botticelli and Michelangelo. I also took time to admire the stunning architecture of the Duomo and enjoy the view from Ponte Vecchio. The trip also took me to the enchanting canals of Venice, where I wandered through narrow streets, rode a gondola, and watched the sun set over the Grand Canal. No trip to Italy would be complete without experiencing the Tuscan countryside, so I spent a few days in a charming villa near Siena, sampling world-class wines and local delicacies.

Italy is well known for its food, but did you know Italy has also got a food shaped in the S shape, of the Venice grand canal? something to eat during snack or dessert time at Italy would be bussolai. A pastry item filled with savory or sweet filling, it is an item which originated from Burano as this was prepared by wives of fisherman when they went away for days. It was originally circular format but evolved to include s these days. This tradition is still kept and sold as local pastries these days. If you ever visit Burano, check out this store with long history and find them in the shape you prefer. They can also be bought home as souvenirs in nice tins of Burano landscape.

Burano is a small & colourful island located in the Venetian Lagoon. The island is famous for its picturesque canals, brightly painted houses & lace-making tradition. The island’s history dates back to the 6th century when it was settled by people fleeing barbarian invasions on the mainland. The colourful houses are painted due to a legend saying that the different colours help fisherman find their way home in the fog. A Day in Venice is a day to remember! The buzzing streets, Boat rides in Gandola & canals going through beautiful architectures make Venice a lustful destination for tourists! First thing about Venice I must say is it’s very crowded. Especially in the summer. The streets are buzzing with tourists and vendors. So I would suggest to get out as early in the morning as possible.
