Introduction Sea Angling in Chicago

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Chicago sea fishing is a unique experience of finding natural wildness in a bustling city. This city located on the shore of Lake Michigan, although not close to the sea, has opened up a different world for sea fishing enthusiasts because of its close dependence on the lake. In Chicago, sea fishing is not a simple fishing, but an intimate dialogue with nature. You can choose to chase the fish swimming in the deep waters on a professional sea fishing boat with the ups and downs of the waves; you can also wait for the fish to bite the hook alone at the dock by the lake. Either way, you can feel the tranquility and excitement brought by sea fishing. Lake Michigan in Chicago has clear water and abundant fish resources, especially salmon and trout, which are the favorites of sea fishing enthusiasts. Here, you can not only enjoy the fun of fishing, but also taste the fresh fish you catch yourself, and experience the perfect transformation from the lake to the table. Chicago sea fishing is not only an intimate contact with nature, but also a relaxation and baptism of the soul. In the busy city life, why not take a day off to go on a spontaneous sea fishing trip and let your soul be truly liberated among the beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains.

Chicago - Architecture

#passionpassport Chicago became a center for architectural experimentation and innovation, home to many buildings that were at one time the tallest in the world. Chicago, the Windy City, faced many of the same restrictions as New York when it came to skyscrapers, limited real estate and heavy winds. Chicago's architectural styles include Chicago Bungalows, Two-Flats, and Graystones along Logan Boulevard and Lawndale Avenue. The Loop is home to skyscrapers as well as sacred architecture including "Polish Cathedrals". Chicago is home to one of the largest and most diverse collections of skyscrapers in the world. #passionpassport #travelinspiration

Chicago, Illinois

Surprisingly a great city for a walker. I’d go to Cloud Gate early and beat the people for some photos. From there you can go to Navy Pier, when I was there people started arriving at almost exactly 10am but so did heavy fog. Everything was closed too but if you are looking to enjoy your self without people that’s the time to do it. The river walk was lovely too! Any time seems to be ok it wasn’t too crowded and if you are taking pictures the people probably aren’t where you are looking then. If you haven’t been to a big city before, like me at the time, the city will probably be intimidating but once you start to recognize things you will be good. Us a land mark to mark an important place like the subway so you can find it and know how to get home #chicago #illinois #walk

Time to learn planets!

You can find more fact-heavy exhibitions about the history of telescopy and the origins of the universe in Adler Planetarium. Projected shows are the cornerstone of any planetarium, and the Adler has a big choice, showing the sky above Chicago with light pollution filtered out, and sparkling presentations about the mysterious Planet Nine and nebulae. There are also free live events, like a viewing of Mars in July 2018, when the planet was at Opposition. #urbanexplorer #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Loews Chicago

Address - The Loews Chicago Hotel is in the heart of Chicago, two blocks away from the Chicago Riverwalk and the Magnificent Mile Ambiance/Facilities - There was a gym, pool and spa on the third floor. The gym was open 24/7 and was one of the best-equipped hotel gyms Highlights - excellent customer service, slick property design and a luxurious yet approachable feel throughout the hotel. Avg. Price per Person - 160 Usd Rating - 9/10 The small touches take this hotel from good to great — things like multiple desk chairs in our room, friendly staff who greet you in the hallways, cold towels in the gym, responsive texts from the concierge and staff taking the effort to reset chairs in the lobby during a slow time — and really make a difference in customer experience #uniquelodging#travelinspiration#awesomepic

A September Visit

I first encountered the Water Tower, on N Michigan Ave (Magnificent Mile), when we first stayed at the near-by Ritz Carlton. That was about 25-30 years ago. On this September trip, we were staying near-by, but at the Westin, a block, or so away. The Water Tower is really two buildings, on either side of N Michigan Ave, the Water Tower itself, with a small art gallery, and then the Chicago Avenue Pumping Station, much of which is now a Department of Tourism office, a small theater, the Looking Glass Theater Company. For me, the architecture is the primary draw, and it always has been, however, there is much history associated with the Water Tower - the second oldest remaining such tower in the USA. Even in the dull light of a cloudy September day, the structure is beautiful, reaching into the sky 185'. As much of this area has been rebuilt, with much more modern structures, the Water Tower is a throwback - a throwback to 1869. Visually, it almost seems out of place, but then maybe it’s the newer, much more modern structures, which are themselves, out of place? One positive effect that I encountered on this day, was that the light was soft, as too often, these two structures have some hard shadows cast upon them, by the taller, surrounding buildings. Besides walking around each of the buildings, I also got to gaze upon the Tower Building, from the restaurant, a few floor up in the Park Hyatt hotel - a view that I had never taken in before. I spent probably an hour and a half between both buildings, and would recommend that one budget at least an hour, to take both structures in, to their fullest fsyvvhijcs #themepark#zoo#nationalpark#lakes

Must visit in Chicago

This has a beautiful central arch that mirrors the false-perspective effect of the Palazzo Barberini in Rome, and is glazed with Tiffany stained glass. Now one of Chicago’s best spots for performing arts, the theatre is owned by the Madison Square Garden Company and puts on a varied programme of comedians, world-famous musicians, dance companies and lectures by renowned cultural figures. Beach House, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Simple Minds, Christina Aguilera and Jim Jefferies were all in store for Fall 2018. Don't forget to visit Chicago Theater when you visit Chicago. #urbanexplorer #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Union Station, Chicago

Union Station, Chicago is one of the most beautiful station I have seen. It’s located in downtown Chicago. Built in 1881, it was rebuilt in 1925. it’s fourth busiest railway station in USA. It was designed by famous Architects. It has platforms and a waiting hall which is grand and so beautiful. It has two statues by Henry Hering —Night and Day — look down on passengers, symbolizing the 24-hour operation of the railroads. The statue Night holds an owl, while Day holds a rooster. Construction was delayed several times by World War I, labor shortages and strikes. The construction of the station also involved the demolition and relocation of some previously existing buildings such as the Butler Brothers Warehouse along the Chicago River #chicago #union #railway #columbus #usa

talking about great architecture!

Built in the mid-1920s for the Chicago Tribune, this iconic Gothic Revival skyscraper on the Magnificent Mile is now being turned into condominiums. The Tribune Tower is clad with Indiana limestone, and came about after a design competition to mark the paper’s 75th anniversary. At night you’ll get a clear view of the buttresses and tracery at the very top, while there are lots of details to discover on the lower storeys. In the years before the tower went up, the Tribune’s publisher Robert R. McCormick had asked his correspondents to bring him fragments of famous monuments from around the world. So, embedded in the stonework are pieces from the Hagia Sophia, Taj Mahal, the Butter Tower of Rouen Cathedral, the Alamo, the Great Pyramid and the Great Wall of China, to name a few. #urbanexplorer #themeparks#nationalpark#lakes#beaches#infinitypool

Rich History, but is it worth the Stay?

Congress Hotel stood out when I was looking for a hotel to stay in Chicago, mainly due to it’s strategic location, rich history, and yes, very appealing photos! Let me give you a summary of my 7-day experience :) PROs: - strategic location, very much central to walk over the tourist spots, train / bus stations, and just across the Buckingham fountain and Grant Park! - spacious room and clean CONs: - my room 872 is just beside the fire exit and there are days when people keep on using the exit and definitely not being gentle with the door. At first it was bearable, but the last 3 days of my stay was horrible! - i booked a room that supposed to have coffee maker (being a coffee lover) but they didn’t provide. I reported it to the reception twice, they addressed my other concerns but NOT this! - the place is abit run down, the air-condition / heater wasn’t working properly. It was really hot at one point that the hotel maintenance guy had to let the window open using the menu so the cool air will come inside my room (i stayed here last winter btw) 😅 Whilst the hotel's historical significance may be appealing, it's important to note the current situation. So, if you're looking for a truly memorable and comfortable stay, it may be worth considering other options. Goodluck! xoxo 💋 #freehotelstay #honesthotelreview #wheninchicago #congressplazahotelchicago #iamtravelaine❣️

Field Museum 👀✨

The Field Museum of Natural History is a must see for anyone visiting Chicago. It is one of the largest and most comprehensive natural history museums in the world, with over 40 million artifacts in its collection. The museum's exhibits explore everything from dinosaurs to ancient cultures to the latest scientific discoveries. 👍🏻 From the moment you see the beautiful building and then enter the main area, you are met with two large elephants and a huge dinosaur skeleton hovering over you. The Field Museum is a great place to learn about the natural world and human history. It is also a fun and interactive place to visit, with plenty of hands-on activities for kids of all ages. 🥰 we spent all day here and we still felt like we rushed to get to see everything. There is just so much great information here, I highly recommend visiting this museum! ❤️ #wheretogo #bestplace #bestview #awesomepic #mytripvlog #celebratewithtrip #best_trip_by_trip #bestplace #recommended #besttimeever #bestdeal #awesometrip #tripcom
