What is it like to visit Tung Lung Island on a rainy day?

Yesterday, which was also this Sunday, the rain kept coming down in various intensities from morning till night. Despite the weather, I didn't want to cancel my plan of going shopping with my two granddaughters. So the three of us each prepared an umbrella and went out. Starting from home on foot, the rain wasn't too heavy yet. We chatted and laughed for a few minutes and arrived at the train station. Then we took the train to Darling Harbour. After arriving at Darling Harbour, we found that it was pouring rain here. The raindrops fell into the puddles on the ground, making big bubbles. We ran happily in the water, without feeling any trouble brought by the rain, but instead felt that it added a lot of fun. Sit down at the ancient restaurant across from the Darling Harbour wharf, facing the sea and enjoying the rain paintings, it is truly a rare scene. After finishing our meal and drinks, we happily held our umbrellas and rushed into the rain again, walking into George Street. Darling Harbour

Revenge Travelling in Sydney - 100% WORTH IT!

Amid the monotonous life brought on by the covid pandemic and lockdowns, the lifting of border restrictions brought the opportunity for our first overseas travel in 2 years! Although we were pretty worried about the Sydney flooding before we flew off, I’m happy to say that not only did it not affect our trip, but New South Wales is as vibrant as ever with buzzing night time, beautiful scenery, and friendly folk. It was at Picton Valley that we experienced our first skydiving experience which was an unbelievable combination of terrifying and exhilarating. We also made sure to catch the Moulin Rouge show which is a definite must see while you’re there! Overall a great respite from the day-to-day grind and now I’m just counting down to my next trip! #passionpassport

Sydney’s Hornby Lighthouse

Board a ferry to Watsons Bay from Circular Quay and follow the directions to Hornby Lighthouse. It’s a short round trail, with a few steps and incline but nothing too challenging. The lighthouse is located on a cliff so you’ll be able to take in majestic cliff side views and catch the Sydney CBD skyline. After your visit to the lighthouse, head back to the Watsons Bay ferry terminal where there are several quaint seafood restaurants and cafes dotting the coastline. Tuck in to a seafood feast and perhaps pair that with a glass of bubbly or a refreshing beer! From Watsons Bay, you can catch a bus to Bondi Junction or head onto the ferry for a trip back to the CBD. Be sure to sit outside on the left side of the ferry if you want to see the Sydney Opera House from the water.
