Sulug Island - Malaysia

Sulug Island (Pulau Sulug) is an island located in the West Coast of Sabah, Malaysia. The island is the part of the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park and it is the second smallest island (20 acres or 8.1 hectares in size) of the marine park. Uninhabited wild island with a sandy spit. The only island without infrastructure. No toilet, cafe, shade. Rubbish is not removed from the beach. You don't have to come here for the whole day. Couple hours will be enough. Sulug island is a nice place to snorkel, there’s lots of corals around. #bucketlistreboot #malaysia #beachlife #summervacation #nationalpark

Feeling luxurious by the sea

#resortstyle The MagellanSutera Resort Shoutout to one of the best hotels I've ever been privileged enough to stay at, located at Kota Kinabalu Sabah. We spent one night here and it it was totally worth it (but obviously it feels like not enough). Let's talk about the room first, the room is so clean, so pretty, spacious and well maintained. We were so mesmerized the moment we stepped in. The view from our room is spectacular, the bed is so large and comfy, the shower room is chef's kiss. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Many activities for children provided by the hotel. The pool is very big, beautiful and fun. And also it's a strategic location to see the sunset. We also had our dinner here, the foods are beyond our expectations, so tasty and well cooked. Couldn't get enough of it. Our booking included the breakfast and the breakfast is at its best, varieties of foods! Truly had a luxurious and comfortable stay.I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. #resort #mytripvlog #summervacation #tripblazers

Long standing Chinese dimsum place in Kota Kinabalu

Long standing Chinese dimsum place in Kota Kinabalu

#bestchinesefood Most towns with a decent Chinese population has a place for dimsum, KK is no different. This dimsum place used to be in a traditional setting, but underwent a renovation in the recent years. What followed that was a rather steep rise in pricing. The taste of most dimsum was decent, but nothing particularly remarkable. During my recent visit, the fish noodles was bad (low content in fish) and the cheongfun was too soft/sticky to our liking, tho.

Sunset Poem - A Tribute to the Dusk at Tanjung Aru Beach, Kota Kinabalu

In the evening, walking along Tanjung Aru Beach in Kota Kinabalu, the air is filled with the gentle scent of sea salt, and the sea breeze lightly brushes by. The sky gradually turns a warm shade of orange. As the sun slowly sets in the west, the entire sea surface sparkles like it's been set ablaze with golden light. The waves gently lap against the shore, making a whispering sound, as if singing a hymn to this beautiful sunset. The scene before your eyes takes your breath away. The orange-red sky gradually transitions to pink and purple, finally sinking into a deep blue. At this moment, where the sky meets the sea, the sun looks like a burning ruby, slowly sinking into the horizon, leaving a trace of afterglow gently illuminating the clouds. The surrounding visitors also stand quietly, seemingly unwilling to break this tranquility, their gazes filled with a touch of emotion, silently cherishing this rare scenery. Watching the sunset on Tanjung Aru Beach, time seems to stand still. This splendid scene where the sea and sky intertwine is not only a visual feast but also a gentle moment that soothes the soul. This sunset poem will become the most tender chapter in your memory.

Tasty Tenom

The Tenom fried mee and Kolo Mee are good, definite in the league amongst the best in KK. Nice eggroll, I love it. Would recommend the fried tenom noodle dry but not the wet one. Not too greasy and the seasoning was just right. They also used fatty pork for their char siu, which gives it so much more flavour than the lean meat used by other restaurants in this area. The restaurant is clean and good to hang out. #tripblazers #cuti²malaysia
