Exploring the hills around Arona, I found some of the most impressive views in all of southern Tenerife. 🏞️ Whether you're driving through the winding roads or walking along the trails, the scenery here is unforgettable—green valleys, volcanic ridges, and endless views of the Atlantic Ocean. 🌊⛰️ One of the best moments was reaching a lookout point just above the town, where you can see both the coastline and the neighboring islands on a clear day. 🌤️ The contrast between the mountains and the sea creates a unique and peaceful vibe—perfect for slowing down and just taking it all in. I went in the late afternoon, and the light over the landscape was golden and soft, making the whole area feel almost magical. ✨ If you're staying in the south of Tenerife, Arona’s viewpoints are absolutely worth the trip—especially if you’re into photography, hiking, or simply enjoying nature at its best. 📸 #canaryislands

Tenerife Monkey Park is such an underrated zoo. Not a lot people visit as it’s just outside the tourist areas however only a short taxi ride to the park, it has a cheap entry fee and you can also buy a box full of animal friendly food that you can feed the monkeys and other animals in the park. I love the open space area where you can interact with the animals and really feel like taking part being revolved around the animals. Great place for families to also take your children!
