Dining under the dim, swaying light is really a special experience. The cellar restaurant is famous for its pork knuckle ribs, which are large in portion, well-seasoned, tender and chewy. They are quite outstanding. The roasted pork neck (pine board) is also delicious. As for the traditional German bread soup, I really can't get used to it. The taste is too salty, and the bread becomes mushy after being soaked in the soup. I personally don't like it very much. There are a lot of group guests in the whole restaurant. Cesky Krumluv is a very walkable town and everything is so near each other. Hotel OLDINN is very conveniently located in the center square and just 10 mins away from the main bus station. The entrance of the hotel is like entering a cave and the breakfast area is just next to the main entrance. The reception service is top notch. Room is spacious and clean with all needed amenities. Some really good restaurants and cafes are just located within the mini square outside the hotel. No pool, no gym, no spa though.
