Red Sand Dunes, the red sand dune is a smaller desert, but it is just as beautiful as the white sand dune, especially when the sun sets. The sunlight shines through, making the sand dunes appear in stripes, attracting tourists to take pictures. 3. Fairy Stream is the fairy stream or the Grand Canyon of Vietnam because the large sandstone mountains are eroded by water and wind. 4. Mui Ne Fish Village, the fishing village You can see the small fishing boats parked in rows. They are boats that look like basket boats in Hoi An. It is one of the important symbols of Mui Ne. 5. Da Lat to Mui Ne, only 4 hours by bus 🏜 Mui Ne (half desert, half sea) I recommend chartering a car for a half-day tour. We rented a car from a local tour group for 580,000 VND. The driver was very nice and even took photos for us for free. Highly recommended. 🏜 White Dunes: A place to see the sunrise, about 30 minutes drive from the city center. The dunes are vast with few people, definitely a holy land for photography! You can spend 60,000 VND on a sandbike because it takes a long time to climb the White Dunes, and you can experience the excitement of sandbiking. 🏜 Red Dunes: Half desert, half sea, a place to see the sunset, very close to the city center. You can play sand sliding here, which is basically renting a mat and sliding as many times as you want, 3,000 VND/1 mat. It's a good idea for everyone to rent one and play together. (If you can wake up early, I suggest chartering a car to the White Dunes to see the sunrise in the morning and go to the Red Dunes for sunset on your own in the evening) 🏞 Fairy Stream: It's a river, and you walk across it barefoot. Remember to turn back when the water reaches knee level! Because walking along the stream won't get you back to where you started, and the water there is dirty with lots of garbage. I even stepped on a thorny branch, and my feet were bleeding! 🎣 Fishing Village: Very dirty and ugly, not recommended to visit, nothing interesting. Recommend a seaside cafe where you can enjoy drip coffee and the sea breeze for a leisurely afternoon tea - TRUNG NGUYEN (168 Huynh Thuc Khang). 🏘 Fairy Tale Town - Da Lat Looking down from a height, many colorful houses are very distinctive. It didn’t feel like Vietnam at all. We climbed to the top, stood in silence, and just watched the dunes shift under the breeze. So simple, so beautiful. After that, there was a quick beach stop before we headed back. Transportation Tips - Take the bus from Ho Chi Minh to Mui Ne at 9am. The whole journey takes about three hours and more. However, you can sleep in the car, so you won’t feel tired. Local attractions - there are only a few main attractions, except for White Sand Dunes which is farther away, other attractions such as Fairy Creek, Red Sand Dunes, and Mui Ne Fishing Village are closer. It rained heavily on the day we left. Fortunately it only went down for less than half an hour. It doesn't affect the itinerary too much. Hotel - This time we chose Meraki Oasis Hotel.This hotel is not available for booking on Trip.com. However, the value for money is really good and you can stay for less than $300 a night. Food and Restaurants - A major delicacy in Mui Ne has more, mainly seafood choices. There are also several coffee shops along the road.
