But you have thought that driving in Northern Europe in winter is not as difficult as you might think. Although challenging, acceptable 🚗 extreme cold temperatures, icy roads, and remote sections are risks that winter self-driving travelers cannot ignore. Make the following four preparations before you leave, so you can have fun and be safe: 1. Do your homework, familiarize yourself with the rules + assess the road conditions Pre-trip data collection is not just as simple as a list of photo spots or restaurants. Even more fortunate is the people are fine, the car is fine, and the wallet is fine. Because we buy enough insurance for the old car, we don’t need to pay extra for the towing fee.
