The ancient Phra That Chedi is over 1,000 years old and contains the relics of the Lord Buddha that were separated from Phra That Doi Tung. There will be worshiping, gilding, bathing, and cloth-wrapping ceremonies every 15th day of the waxing moon in the 4th lunar month.

Wat Phra Borommathat Tung Yang, Uttaradit Province An important temple in Tung Yang, built since the late Sukhothai period, during the reign of King Maha Thammaracha I or Phraya Lithai, which locals generally call Wat Borommathat. It is beautiful with a viharn that combines Lanna and Ayutthaya styles. The top of the chedi is a Mon-Burmese pagoda arch.
