Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine can be reached by bus from both Kii-Katsuura Station and Nachi Station. The hike up the Daimon-zaka was amazing, the air is so fresh and you can feel the beauty of Mother Nature. It is so peaceful and serene. If u want to try ippaku-nishoku (one stay with 2 meals) with onsen and traditional Japanese clothes, it is a good choice, the view of the room is nice but style bit old. There was a market next to the fishing port of Nachikatsuura! It was a facility for tourists, and we had freshly caught tuna and whale. After staying at Hotel Urashima, we went there the next day.
