All Trip Moments about Orchard Road
A Whirlwind 3D2N Getaway in Vibrant Singapore
Day 1: Arrival + Jewel & Orchard Road
Landed at Jewel Changi Airport, where the iconic Rain Vortex and lush greenery instantly made the airport feel like a destination on its own. After checking in, I strolled through Orchard Road, visiting the sleek Apple Store and browsing everything from big-name brands to indie finds.
Day 2: City Icons, Vivo Vibes & Night Views
Mid-morning, I checked out the colorful Old Hill Street Police Station, then headed to VivoCity for lunch and some laid-back shopping with waterfront views. It’s a great mix of local crowd and city energy.
In the late afternoon, I made my way to the ArtScience Museum — both the architecture and exhibitions were visually stunning and immersive. From there, I walked over to Marina Bay Sands to explore the Apple Store on the bay, catch the golden hour views from the SkyPark, and watch the Spectra light and water show as the city lit up.
Ended the night at Beach Road, where heritage shophouses and cool dining spots made for a relaxed dinner setting.
Day 3: Orchard Morning & Garden Glow
Spent my final morning back at Orchard Road — a bit of last-minute shopping and good coffee before checking out. In the evening, I headed to Gardens by the Bay, where the glowing Supertrees and mist-filled Cloud Forest were pure magic under the night sky. A dreamy end to a packed trip.
Final Take:
Singapore is the kind of place that balances fast-paced city life with quiet moments of beauty. Every minute counts here — and somehow, 3 days felt like so much more.
Quick Travel Tips for Singapore:

- Pack light & breathable clothes — Singapore’s climate is hot and humid all year.
- Visit Gardens by the Bay at night for the stunning Supertree light show.
- Shop early at Orchard Road to beat the crowds and enjoy cooler weather.
- Plan indoor stops like Jewel Changi or museums during the midday heat.
- Stay hydrated and carry a compact umbrella for sudden rain or sun.
- Don’t skip hawker centres — Beach Road and Chinatown have amazing, budget-friendly local eats.

Orchard Road is more than just a shopping paradise – it's also a place filled with amazing architecture and impressive art. As you walk along the street, you’ll notice how the modern buildings, like Ngee Ann Orchard and Orchard Central, really stand out with their sleek designs. A snowman slowly melting with time.
A hill from afar, a fishhook up close.
A man in a suit walking a tightrope, constantly facing the threat of layoffs.
Secret savings being devoured by ants.
A horse forced to walk endlessly on a treadmill.

This thought-provoking exhibition explores the fragile and often overlooked aspects of life and survival.

Light snacks Bite
#springitinerary
Do visit the basement level light snacks corner when you are around the shopping mall area. You can try out the local old chang kee brand which consists of many fried foods such as curry puff, squid, nuggets, and chicken wings. You can also try out the auntie Annie pretzels that come with various flavours too. My favourite would be the cinnamon and the green tea flavour. Be sure to try them out.
Bronze Sculptures at Orchard
#springitinerary
At the orchard bush street, you would find many statues and bronze Sculptures along the way when you walk from the doby ghaut area all the way to the tanglin mall area. You would need at least two hours to finish exploring this stretch of place with lots of shopping malls. What catches my attention is the beautiful colourful artificial ornamental sunflowers placed outside the paragon walkway.

Nico Cafe: A little coffee, a lot of books, and a quiet escape from the world

A Taste of Paris on Orchard Road – With a Coconut Twist
Tucked away just off bustling Orchard Road, I found a quiet escape in the most unexpected form — a French-style café that blends literary charm with tropical indulgence. The moment you step in, it feels like you’ve wandered into a little Parisian nook: warm wooden bookshelves stacked with vintage novels, soft instrumental music in the background, and sunlight filtering through gauzy curtains. It’s cozy without feeling cramped, charming without trying too hard.
What made the experience even more memorable? The outdoor seating. Yes — open air in the middle of Orchard Road sounds like a recipe for sweat and city noise, but not here. The patio is shaded, breezy, and perfectly tucked away from the heat. You get fresh air and natural light without the sticky humidity, making it an ideal spot for a mid-day pause or a quiet catch-up with friends.
Now onto the star of the show: their coconut dirty coffee. I wasn’t sure what to expect — coconut and espresso? But one sip in, and I was hooked. The creamy coconut milk softens the intensity of the espresso, creating a smooth, nutty, slightly sweet drink that’s both refreshing and bold. It’s the kind of drink that makes you slow down, close your eyes for a second, and just enjoy.

Walking around Orchard Road with Family
#favouriteitinerary
Orchard Road is a very popular destination for tourists and I went around with my parents as expected while we visited! We stayed at Orchard Hotel nearby so we only walked instead of taking any transportation.
The H&M building was really exciting for me as Myanmar doesn’t have H&M or most of the brands we have here in Singapore such as Zara, Pull & Bear, etc.
We walked throughout the whole road. My younger brother especially enjoyed Takashimaya’s kid section. He had a blast at the lego and toys section!! My mom loved to look at the brands at Ngee Ann City. We started our day since the sun was out until it became late evening. Definitely a fun family activity to enjoy!
