A hidden place! Truly Oku Bungo. A small inn at the foot of Mt. Sobo [Minshuku Seiryu] I went to a rural inn with a great view where you can hear the babbling of the river and eat wonderful food⭐️ All ingredients are locally produced✨ The owner trained in cooking both in Japan and abroad and serves creative kaiseki. Exciting dishes according to the season are brought out one by one at the right time❤️ Dinner on this day was 10 dishes starting with cheese chawanmushi topped with oysters from Oiri Island. All the sashimi, including flounder and golden salmon roe, are local. There was also plenty of freshly picked vegetables with a rich flavor♪ The fruit Shiraae to cleanse the palate was mixed with a rich cream. The scorched rice cooked in a pot that was served halfway through was sweet! The fish dish I went to fishing every day was salt-grilled flounder.
