Located in Uchisar Castle, you need to take a bus to the town of Uchisar. It takes about ten to fifteen minutes to walk after getting off the bus. It is easy to find a straight road. It was cloudy when I first arrived, so I didn’t take any photos of the blue sky and white clouds. The sun came out when I left🥲 The Love Cave is right at the bottom. There was no one there when I took the photo. But after other tourists saw me taking the photo, more and more people came. I quickly ran up to take a few more pictures and left, but the photos didn't come out very well when I sat there, so I couldn't see what it looked like. It might be because of the bad weather. We chanced upon the store during our day trip to Uchisar as the shop was right in front of where the public bus dropped us off from Goreme, approximately 4-5km away from Uchisar. The family run business is in its 3rd generation and it appears that many of the products sold are made by them. We skipped the commercial looking products and went straight to what they produce best - onyx crafted items that ranged from beautiful one-of-a-kind tableware to sculptures. They also had very impressive vases with visible fossils!! The history behind the material used to produce what we see and held is rather amazing! As patrons, we are often price conscious and we were very appreciative of the prices offered with some flexibility for larger purchases - and yes, the prices were very realistic when compared to the many stores and stalls within the region. On the last day of my trip to Cappadocia, I decided to get closer to the huge rock tower that I could see from afar - Uçhisar Castle. This "castle" made of natural volcanic rocks is not only the highest point in the area, but also more like a fortress left on the surface by time. The climb up is not easy. The rock stairs are winding and you need to use your hands and feet in some places. But when I stood on the top, the 360-degree panoramic view of Cappadocia was breathtaking. The fairy chimneys in the distance, the endless valley, and even the hot air balloon take-off point are clearly visible. At this moment, I seemed to be standing at the intersection of history and nature. This "castle" was actually an ancient defensive stronghold and residence, full of passages and caves, and is said to date back to BC. In the past, residents took advantage of the easy-to-carve texture of volcanic rock to create a honeycomb-like rock dwelling world, which can be regarded as a natural fortification. Although no one lives there now, it still retains the spatial structure and mysterious atmosphere of that time. If you come to Cappadocia, it is far from enough to just take a hot air balloon ride.
