After getting off the highway, you will arrive at the East Visitor Center of Hongye Persimmon Rock. After entering from the East Visitor Center, you will visit the China National Geographic Camp. If you are taking a car, you can choose the sightseeing bus station. If you are walking, just go straight through this place. You must take this bamboo path, and follow this road to reach the Aibao Parent-Child Ranch. Continue walking upwards, and at the lake, there is a fork in the road, so we first choose to go up. Arrive at Shiyang Ancient Village Little Lijiang, which is an ancient village. Continue walking upwards to reach the Liuli Buddha Colorful Glass Plank Road, the glass observation deck, and the glass suspension bridge, and then reach a middle position called Yunqiao, which is halfway up the mountain. If you are tired, you can return along this road. If you want to continue climbing, we continue to go up, and above is a loop. From crossing the clouds, you reach the Xichang City Cultural Corridor, then to the Dream Tower, and then to the starting point of the glass rafting. If you do the glass rafting, you can come down directly. If not, then follow this road. #cityview We truly enjoyed a stay in the Zibo downtown area. A spectacular sunrise, from our room at the Ramada Hotel, set the tone for a great day. Sunset and Night views, from the Sheraton Hotel, even more breathtaking. A lovely buffet breakfast at the "Cafe Grand" Restaurant, was a great start to the day. Walking around the CBD was truly pleasant, especially as it was a great day, as far as the weather was concerned. The Zibo Mall was centrally located, and has a number of well renowned branded business / stores on offer. Right next to the Zibo Mall, you will find "The MixC" Mall, which is truly world class, with superior brands, such as Hagen Dazz; Swarovski; SPAR and many more, too many to mention. There are numerous restaurants in and around both the Mix C Mall and the Zibo Mall. The Zibo Railway Station, is also a short walk away from the malls and the CBD. Everything you need, is centrally situated. I can recommend a weekend in the CBD of Zibo, either for leisure or business.

#christmasforever Christmas weekend, at the Sheraton, was the best ever. We checked into the Sheraton Zibo Hotel on Friday the 23rd of December, for a three night stay. The "Feast Signature Restaurant", went through alot of effort, to ensure that they have a full Christmas spread available. Traditional Christmas dishes were prepared, including Turkey and Gammon. The pastries and deserts were beautifully displayed, and delicious as always. Christmas inspired pastries, included Pannatone and Christmas Cake. Thank you to the entire Restaurant team, whom all worked hard during this period, and ensured that guests enjoy their dining. We enjoyed spending most of our free time in our suite, which was spacious and comfortable. The views from the 36th floor, were spectacular, both at day and night time. For lunch, we ordered "Room Service" via the APP. The dishes are professionally prepared, and truly worthy of five star quality. Especially the Spaghetti Bolognese and the Alfredo. We look forward to our next stay at the Sheraton Zibo Hotel, and we look forward to seeing all our friends join us there again.

#ramadabywyndham We enjoyed a lovely night time Barbecue at the Zibo Ramada, on our most recent visit. Beautiful night views of the Hotel surroundings and the Hotel interior, makes for a perfect setting. Breakfast at the "Cafe' Grade" Restaurant was supurb, with a lovely selection and a great setting. This was a great night out, at the Ramada. Definitely a must visit, when in Zibo.

#bestrestaurant The "Feast Signature Restaurant", situated within the "Sheraton Hotel" Zibo, is still the "Best Restaurant", in Zibo. Guests and visitors will enjoy a huge variety of dishes, ranging from Western to Chinese cuisine. The dishes are professionally prepared and always fresh and flavorful. On this specific dinner visit, guests were treated to Crayfish. The deserts and pastries are always delicious, special thanks to the Manager "Ben" for ensuring that there was a replenishment of deserts, throughout the dinner session. All visitors to Zibo, should take the time to visit this 5 Star Restaurant, they will not be disappointed at all.

#romanticgetaway Our most recent trip to Zibo was a special one, and we wanted our Hotel stay to be special as well. We chose to stay at the Zibo Ramada, as this has always been one of our favorite Hotels to visit, whilst in Zibo. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday. As it was a special outing, we submitted a special request to the Ramada. We requested that the room "Business Suite", be decorated, according to the "Romantic Theme". Our request was met, and our suite was beautifully decorated, with red bedding and white swans (towels). Our check-in process was a bit slow, and this could improve in future. Ms. Mia Wang, did however do her best, to speed the process up, and apologized accordingly. Breakfast at the "Cafe' Grand", was good as always, with a fair variety of Western and Chinese dishes to select from. The Lobby Lounge is always nice to visit, and great if you want to enjoy the elegant feel. Housekeeping was also very friendly and courteous, and ensured that we had all that we need, at all times. There was enough drinking water at all times. The Zibo Ramada was courteous enough to afford us with a late check out, as our transport was delayed on the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and will continue to support the Zibo Ramada, as often as possible. See you soon.

Zibo is a rural city in China. Although it is not easily accessible, many Chinese people visit here to eat skewers. If you happen to visit the surrounding cities of Jinan or Weifang, I highly recommend you visit there. # Valentine's Day Dining, Five Star Style The Sheraton in Zibo, is simply the best Hotel within Zibo, in my opinion. This Hotel is worthy of it's five star status. Contributing to this, it's main Restaurant, which plays a monumental role. The "Feast Signature Restaurant", is one of a kind, and the best place to dine in Zibo, as far as we are concerned. The Restaurant caters for Western and Assian patrons. The obvious choice for a Romantic Valentine's Day dining experience, infact, the best Restaurant for any special occasion. The service levels are exceptional, and we are always appreciative, of the team's efforts. From front of house, to the chefs, and ofcourse the management, they all give it their all, always. We are celebrating Valentines Day, at the Sheraton, and looked forward to our Valintines Dinner at the Feast Signature Restaurant. Dinner time finally came, and we were amazed at the Superb spread provided. The Signature Lobster Dish, and Signature Deserts, were the highlight of the evening. Delicious food, quality time with my soulmate, and a live band playing, just perfect. We can recommend the Sheraton Zibo to all visitors, be it business or leisure, when in Zibo. # Five Star Valentine's Day I have said it before, and I will say it again, The Sheraton in Zibo, simply has no competition within Zibo. This Hotel is worthy of it's five star status. Surely, the first choice for a superb Valentine's Day experience, infact, the best place for any special occasion. It's quite obvious, that the facilities are the best in town (this is a fact, not merely an opinion). Nevertheless, you can have the best building, decorations and location, and it would be absolutely worthless, without good service. Fortunately, the service levels are exceptional, and we are always appreciative, of the team's efforts. As we are celebrating Valentines Day, we longed for something romantic and special on this day. The Sheraton Zibo, did not dissapoint. The room was beautifully decorated, for the occasion. We can recommend the Sheraton Zibo to all visitors, be it business or leisure, when in Zibo, this is the best place to be. #Illuminate, the Lantern Festival After our Saturday night dinner, we decided to visit the Zibo Yudaihu Lake. As the annual "Yuda Lake Lantern Festival", was taking place. There was an exceptionally large crowd, trying to make their way in. Fortunately, the barriers that are in place outside the entrance, seem to keep the crowd in check. We managed to enter the Yudaihu Lake, after about 15 minutes or so. Once inside, we soon realised that it was worth the wait. An amazing exhibition of lighting displays, are on display, each with their own unique character. The primary theme, "The Rabbit", ofcourse, as it's the year of the Rabbit. Make your way towards the lake, and enjoy spectacular views, and lights alike. If you are in the area, do make a point to visit this attraction.

#Just around the corner The Ziboshi Gaoxinqu Botanical Garden, is literary situated, right next door to our residence. We decided to visit the "Ziboshi Gaoxinqu Botanical Garden", on Saturday afternoon. The facilities are well kept, even during the winter months. Their are various walking trails to enjoy throughout the Gardens. Visitors with children, can enjoy the well equipt childrens play park. Adults can enjoy the table tennis facilities. You will find a lake, upon entering the Botanical Garden, the lake provides character to the area. Various musicians grace the Botanical Garden with their musical performances.

#international Quality My first stay at a Hampton again, since 19 years ago, when I stayed at the Hampton in Manhattan, New York City, New York. Staying at the Hampton in Zibo, Shandong was truly a most pleasant experience. Upon entering the foyer, we were well received by all staff present. We were politely greeted in English, and Ailsa assisted us with a prompt check in process. The facilities are well kept, and the Hotel is as good as new. Infact, it's one of the newest Hotels in Zibo, and everything is in immaculate order. We booked and stayed in one of the suites, and found the suite to be fairly spacious and well equipped. The bed is extremly comfortable, from the mattress itself, to the bedding. Breakfast at the "Hampton Restaurant" was excellent, as they have a huge variety of tasty dishes available. There are"Friendly staff" at the restaurant, and the facilities are immaculate. Note: There is a vending machine downstairs, which is convenient, should you require drinks or snacks. Other than these suggestions, we found the overall experience to be most pleasant. The checkout process was prompt and the staff at the front desk, were friendly and efficient. We can recommend the Hampton Hotel in Zibo, to all travellers, foreign, and domestic.

#Timeless Elegance Enjoy the clear views of the city, while walking to and from the Zibo Hotel. Note: These photos were taken outside the windows, thus there is no glass obstructing the views. Once you enter the Hotel's foyer, you will be amazed by the classic and timeless finishes. From Victorian style chandeliers, to water fountains and marble tile cladding. "This never get's old". The suites are adequate, unfortunately rundown and aged. Nevertheless, the suites are well layed out and equipt. The public areas, remain the best thing this Hotel has going for it, that and ofcourse the breathtaking views of the CBD.

#they won't see me again... We loved to visit this Hotel as often as possible, and chose the Sheraton Zibo Hotel, for all our special occasions. That was until our most recent visit... After this weekend's pathetic experience from the front desk, the Sheraton Hotel in Zibo, will never see us again. Note: We will still support the "Feast Signature Restaurant" on a weekly basis, as well as for special occasions. Check in on Friday, was most unpleasant as "Ivy Wang", wanted to charge me the Room Rate, along with the deposit, this after I paid for the room and breakfast, in full, online, as I have done many times before. The Check out process, on Sunday, was even worse. "Amy" the clerk at the front desk, was most incompetent, and presented an incorrect bill. I was charged "Noodles" from the mini bar, which I never even consumed. Further, she could not communicate the details of the bill to me clearly, even although I added her on Wechat, for ease of communication. Note: It's not a communicative issue, it's a poor service issue, period. The so called duty Manager "Maggie", was also not of much useful assistance. I asked her to accompany me back to the room on the 39th floor, as I wanted to reiterate my point, the "noodles" was never consumed... She was not willing to accompany me to the room, and merely stated that "house keeping" made the mistake, and they corrected the bill. This, in my opinion, is a classic case of shifting the blame, as in my opinion, the problem is at front desk. Check out was supposed to be quick and efficient, yet we left the hotel at 12:18 18 min of our time wasted, for no good reason. Is this the treatment to expect for any guest? Especially, guests whom have spent thousands with the establishments to date. I will urge all travelers to reconsider supporting this Hotel, there are numerous options in Zibo. The world does not revolve around the Sheraton Zibo. There are many other Hotels, in close proximity. (Whom treat their guests better). As a matter of principal, I will contact the Sheraton Corporate Head Office (New York) as well, perhaps they are not aware of this branch's incompetence. Like I said, this was our last stay, at the Sheraton in Zibo.

#foreigners are not welcome here We discovered a brand new hotel in our City, only to learn that they don't accept foreigners. Thus, only Chinese guests are allowed at this Hotel. The irony being that everything is branded in English, with Italian design, and heritage. Yet, foreigners are not welcome at this hotel. The Hotel is absolutely immaculate, sleek and stylish. Yet, it's as dead as a door nail, in terms of foot count at present. This Hotel, is in my opinion, a "white elephant" and it will probably not amount to anything in future. There are many options in close proximity, these brands are well established. Furthermore, they welcome local and foreign business.

# Time travel to the past Recently, we decided to make it a point to visit as many Hotels as possible. One of which, happened to be the Zibo Hotel. Upon entering the Hotel's foyer, there is a sense of old fashioned charm and timeless elegance. The Lobby Lounge and Foyer areas, resembles a time, where features were dramatised. As many as five Victorian style chandeliers, and a classic spiral staircase, gives it a sense of luxury and style. The rooms and suites, are adequate, as they are spacious, and fairly well designed. Sadly, the hotel has aged quit a lot, since it opened in 1999. Personally, I enjoyed the Hotel's Architecture and classic finishes (within the public spaces), as well as the Restaurant "The Food Plaza". The room itself, well, I did not enjoy it as much as the rest of the Hotel. My personal preference being a more modern bedroom, with a softer bed. Nevertheless, it was an interesting visit. For a moment in time, it was as if we were back in the 90's.

#classic Hotel / Timeless Indeed My Wife and I, started with pre celebrations to our 14th Wedding Anniversary, which falls on the 16th of August 2022. The date has great significance to us, as it's also on the same date, that we first arrived in China during 2019. Thus we would be married 14 years on the day, and in beautiful China, for 3 years on the 16th of August 2022. I booked a Delux Queen Room on Trip.com in pre celebration to the occasion. There was a special request from my side (fresh flowers to be placed in room), that the Hotel could not meet at the time (as I booked on very short notice). The management was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite, which we sincerely enjoyed and appreciated. We enjoyed the buffet breakfasts at the Ramada's "Cafe Grand" during our weekend stay. During our stay, we treated ourselves to an "Oriental Regimen Massage", from the in house SPA (Health Massage Centre) which is conveniently situated on the 6th Floor. Our massage therapists, provided a professional service, in the comfort of our suite. The room's decoration was classic, and everything was in good order. We enjoy the public areas as well, as it has a grand and classic feel to it. The service received was very professional, from check in to check out. Staff at the front desk, were most helpful during our stay there. We ordered room service, however the "Western Menu" was a bit limited, due to an obvious "supply and demand" issue. Nevertheless, the staff went to great lengths, to ensure that we receive something delicious from their restaurant. The Ramada Hotel in Zibo, is a true classic, in my opinion. And most definitely worth to visit for extended periods of time, such as over weekends and holidays. We find the Ramada's location to be most convenient, and guest can enjoy various attractions, just a short walk away. I honesty feel that more people shoud visit The Ramada Hotel, and it's Cafe Grand Restaurant. As in my opinion, it's still one of the best Hotels, of its kind in Zibo. Once again, thank you to the Ramada Zibo for your wonderful service, and for making us feel right at home. We look forward to our next stay with you.

Where would you find the best Restaurant in Zibo? At the Sheraton Hotel, ofcourse. The "Feast Signature" Restaurant, is the best restaurant in Zibo, in my opinion, based on the following: Firstly, the restaurant is situated within the Sheraton Hotel in Zibo, thus the building itself, is elegant and mordern. The staff are hard working, and dedicated to serve all patrons well. There is a huge selection of food at the buffet, for all kinds of tastes. Western and Chinese dishes are always available. The quality of the pastries are of high standard, and the restaurants nearby can simply not compete (I tried them all). We now visit the Feast Signature Restaurant on a weekly basis, and invite our friends to join us often.
