Must visit Zoo in Hokkaido

#traveldiaries #japan If you are in Hokkaido, do not miss out visiting Asahiyama zoo. There are many animals living in this zoo which includes polar bears, seals, giraffes, hippopotamus, and wolfs. But for me, the highlight has got to be seeing the different penguins! The zoo even has a penguin walk parade during winter! While many zoo showcase penguins, they are nothing like this. Here, you can go really close to the penguins during the penguin feeding showtime. Furthermore, the feathers of the penguins look clean and they seem like they are well managed by the zookeepers! Do allocate minimum of 3 hours here as there are many to see!
