I spent a full day exploring and honestly... it wasn’t enough! There are over 2,000 temples scattered across the plains—yes, thousands! 😮 I rented an e-bike (so fun and easy to ride!) and went temple-hopping from sunrise to sunset. You can stop wherever you like, explore freely, and climb up some pagodas (only a few are still open for climbing). Every angle is Insta-worthy—yes, I used filters too 😉📸 The real magic? Sunset and sunrise. The sky turns pink, orange, and gold, and the view is just chef’s kiss. Some locals will offer to take you to hidden viewpoints for a small tip—worth it if you want those peaceful, crowd-free moments. Bagan gets hot though 🔥 so come prepared with sunscreen, a hat, and water. Also, carry a scarf or longyi if you want to enter pagodas—shoulders and knees need to be covered. Honestly, it felt like time slowed down here.
