An ancient temple from the late Ayutthaya period, over 200 years old. The highlight is the golden chapel, the only one in Thailand. Beautiful and dazzling both inside and outside. The temple has an important history. It was the base of the Burmese army before being defeated by King Taksin the Great, who built the pagoda as a memorial. The name "Jo Lo" comes from the "Jo Lo" tactic in which King Taksin used a boat to lure the Burmese into believing before attacking. Inside the temple, there is a large principal Buddha image for worship and you can crawl under the base for good luck. There is a shrine to King Taksin and an ancient boat on display, reflecting its historical significance.
