Solo Travel Review: Riding the Chao Phraya Express Boat

Starting Point: BTS Saphan Taksin → Pier Transportation Method: Chao Phraya Express Boat Price: 150฿ (You can buy an unlimited pass, but we recommend purchasing only what you need for better value.) The trip begins with taking the BTS to Saphan Taksin Station. From there, walk to the pier to purchase a ticket for the Chao Phraya Express Boat (the staff are very helpful and provide great guidance). You can opt for an unlimited pass priced at around 150฿, which allows you to hop on and off as much as you like. However, I ended up getting off only at Tha Chang Pier, which was already worth it! During the journey, I made new friends and even got to watch a traditional Thai Khon performance. It was a wonderful new experience!
