#summervacay I’ve never seen anything like it. The Sagrada Família doesn’t rise from the earth—it spirals. It feels alive, like it’s still growing. Designed by Gaudí and still under construction after more than a century, it’s more than a basilica. It’s a living prayer in stone. The moment I stepped inside, light poured in—not harsh, but coloured, like sunrise through a kaleidoscope. Stained glass lit the nave in blues and oranges, casting reflections that danced across the floor and onto faces turned skyward. The columns reached up like trees. It felt less like architecture and more like a forest in the mind of God. I didn’t rush. I walked slowly, letting the silence speak. Everything curved. Nothing felt rigid. Even the shadows were soft. Sagrada Família isn’t about symmetry—it’s about surrender. Outside, I circled the basilica, pausing at the contrasting facades: the Nativity, so intricate it felt like lace; the Passion, stark and solemn, like a whisper of grief.
