Spanish cities for hiking enthusiasts

Beceite sits on a low ridge on the right bank of the Matarranha River. The town has several important buildings: the Parish Church of San Bartolomé (18th century), a Baroque, brick and three-nave building, and the Hermitage of Santa Ana (17th century), a Gothic-Renaissance building in brick and stone. There are also several fronts from the 13th to the 16th century, and civil buildings from the 16th to the 18th century. Five kilometers from Beceite is El Parrizal, a natural enclave that has become one of the last territories of the Spanish goat. It is a deep ravine, about 200 meters long, 60 meters high and only 2 meters wide. Hiking enthusiasts can choose long-distance routes such as the GR-8, whose well-signposted paths stretch from Puertos de Beceite and the Maestrazgo and Gúdar mountains to Javalambre.
