【Albania】Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Berat, located in the south-central region of Albania, is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Gjirokastër. This town preserves the architectural style from the Ottoman Empire era, earning it the nickname "The City of a Thousand Windows" due to its unique appearance. The houses are built along the slopes, and visitors can even stay in accommodations within these residential areas. However, as shown in photos 3 to 5, the cobblestone streets are uneven and hard, with steep inclines in some areas, making walking up and down quite tiring.
