One day, the husband fell into the sea and died while fishing. The wife found it hard to accept this fact and still went to the beach every day to wait for her husband to return. The Dragon King was moved by the deep affection of the fisherman’s wife and sent a green snake to bring her to the Dragon Palace in the East China Sea, so that the couple could reunite at the bottom of the sea. This place was therefore called Green Snake Pool. However, since it was not auspicious to name a place after "Green Snake", the name "Green Sand" was adopted from the Korean homonym, and the name was changed to "Green Sand Port".
