Hunan Museum, rich in artifacts from the Mawangdui Han Tomb

Hunan Museum (free admission, but requires advance reservation; for weekends and holidays, it's best to book 7 days in advance) features an impressive and unique collection of artifacts excavated from the Mawangdui Han Tomb. By attending the free volunteer-guided tours (available at 10 AM and 11 AM), I listened to two one-hour sessions that provided deeper insights into the history, culture, and exquisite burial items of the Han Dynasty's Mawangdui. However, with many attendees and a rushed viewing experience, I took advantage of the quieter noon hours to revisit and carefully examine the key artifacts. I spent over four hours in the museum before leaving fully satisfied.
