Weekend Retreat at a Chengdu Homestay to Escape the Rain

A larger projector screen, retro-style speakers, a comfy sofa and tatami, a dining table adorned with fresh flowers, beige sheer curtains... every element in sight is soft and soothing, perfectly complementing the tranquility of a rainy day indoors. ◽️ This is a designer homestay, evident in the unexpected thoughtful touches of its decor—scented candles, a guitar, a jewelry box, plush toys—it’s truly artsy. ◽️ The service and location are impeccable. The host provides detailed written guidance in the group chat, responding with politeness and patience. It’s just a 10-minute bike ride to Chunxi Road, making it super convenient for travelers. ◽️ Hiding away during a storm was pure bliss. Stepping out of my usual routine occasionally to stay at a hotel or homestay for a day or two always brings a fresh perspective and longing when I return to my everyday space.
