Khao Kheow Open Zoo

Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi province is very popular among local thais and tourists. The place is huge and visitors can choose to walk, take a tram or rent a golf cart to get around the zoo. With more than 7,000 species of animals and habitats of more than 250 species, it is a nature-friendly place to learn and understand the habits of animals. Visitors can also get up close to certain animals like feeding the giraffes and penguins. The latest attraction at Khao Kheow Zoo now is the cute hippo called "Moo Deng" which brings lots of visitors from all over Thailand and overseas to come and visit.
