Chongqing has absolutely blown me away! Known as the “Mountain City,” this place is a vibrant mix of dazzling cityscapes, rich history, and mouth-watering cuisine. Every corner of Chongqing seems to offer something new and exciting. One of the highlights of my trip was experiencing the city at night. The skyline, with its skyscrapers illuminated in colorful lights, is nothing short of mesmerizing. Walking along the Yangtze River, the reflection of the lights on the water creates a surreal, almost dreamlike atmosphere. And let’s not forget the Hongya Cave – a must-visit spot that looks like something straight out of a fairytale, especially when it’s all lit up after dark. Of course, no trip to Chongqing is complete without diving into its legendary hotpot. The spice level is not for the faint of heart, but it’s a culinary experience you simply can’t miss. The flavors are intense, bold, and uniquely Chongqing. Whether you’re exploring the historic sites, taking in the stunning views, or just savoring the local cuisine, Chongqing is a city that leaves a lasting impression.
