Daegu Marriott Hotel M Club Room King Bed (Afternoon Tea Time, Novel Hour, Urban Kitchen Breakfast, Swimming Pool)

#Ho-kang-su After visiting the last remaining Korean World Heritage Site, Haeinsa Janggyeong Panjeon (Palman Daejanggyeong), I made a reservation at the Daegu Marriott Hotel near Dongdaegu Station, which is convenient for transportation, to have dinner in Gumi, where my friend is. I visited here in early January when it had its grand opening to have afternoon tea. I am visiting here again after 3 months to stay there. I left a note requesting a room with a bathtub and a high floor. I requested this after seeing a review that said there are rooms with bathtubs and spacious bathrooms, but only shower booths. I left Seoul early in the morning, visited Haeinsa Temple first, and bought a bottle of champagne at Shinsegae in front of Dongdaegu Station, and checked in around 4 PM. I was kindly greeted at the reception. I was glad that my request was reflected in the room with a bathtub on the 11th floor, the highest floor. I had lunch at Haeinsa Temple souvenir shop and was hungry, so I went to the club lounge. The lounge was located on the same 11th floor, so it was convenient to move around. It was divided into two spaces like a connecting team room, but since there weren't many guests, I only used one side. Afternoon tea time was only available with simple cookies, bakery items, coffee, and drinks. I was disappointed with the composition and variety, but after plating and starting to eat, I was hungry, but the breads and cookies were very delicious. It felt different from when I came for afternoon tea. I stayed in the lounge for about 40 minutes and then used the sauna and swimming pool facilities. Since I walked the mountain path for about an hour and a half, my feet were swollen and I didn't sleep, so the sauna was perfect for relieving my fatigue. It was safe to use because there was a limit on the number of people allowed. Like Grand Josun Busan, this place also has a structure where you can see outside through the windows, and the blinds are drawn in three layers. It is a simple structure with cold/hot/hot baths and 2 saunas. The structure is also connected from the sauna to the swimming pool. The swimming pool is an indoor pool with 3 lanes and is small. There were no guests at around 6pm on a weekday. I just took a few pictures. At that time, my friend in Gumi contacted me saying that she was busy and had a hard time in the evening. ㅠㅠ I gave up dinner time like that, but I ended up using it because I didn't go to Gumi. I used the novel hour that was sold separately as a product at the lobby lounge where I used afternoon tea in January, and I used it as a club lounge service. It seems like a reasonable choice from the hotel's perspective. They provide unlimited wine and cocktails, dim sum and tapas, and they refill nuts when they are empty. It seemed like a good appetizer before dinner. There are no wine glasses in the room, but if you ask for a champagne glass, they will bring it. You are provided with a Schott Zweiser glass that was used in the lounge. The table in the room was wide, the sofa was long, and the window opened, so it was convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the bathtub was deep and wide, so it was good for a half-body bath. The next day, they extended the late check-out to 2:00, so I was able to change my reservation to a train at 2:00 and have a leisurely morning. I also use the breakfast regularly at the Urban Kitchen, not the club lounge. The lounge on the 11th floor is currently only used for tea time. Just like dinner, this is where you can see the rationality of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Overall, the dishes had a depth of flavor. When we finished the meal time and changed to dessert time, they put the plates that were left out in one place in a sensible way, which gave me the feeling of a Japanese hotel. All the desserts were delicious. It was a moment that made me look forward to the afternoon tea next season. Maybe because the cream part was improved, the disappointment of melting in the January tart was not found in this soufflé. I came back after resting and eating well for 1 night and 2 days. It seemed to have sufficiently competitive services and facilities. The view was a bit disappointing, and it would have been better if the club lounge afternoon tea time had been improved. Thank you. #Daegu #DaeguTravel #DaeguHotel #DaeguHotPlace
