The place had a rustic and chill interior, and the band was already tuning up when I arrived. Their setlist included a mix of English, Mandarin, and Malay classics, which kept the whole place singing along. With a cold Carlsberg in hand and dim lighting all around, the night just flowed. I didn’t expect Desaru to have such a fun nightlife scene, but this spot proved me wrong. You don’t need to splurge on fancy beach resorts to enjoy a great night — just good music, good beer, and good company. A perfect budget night out!
