Florence, a city whose warmth deepens with every step.

From the very first impression, Florence felt warm. It wasn’t flashy, but it was profound; it wasn’t loud, but it was intense. Sunlight poured into every alley, and the stone-paved streets seemed to carry the footsteps of people from centuries ago. The entire city slowly and deeply seeped into my heart. The Duomo Cathedral was overwhelming both from afar and up close. Every morning, as I stepped out of my accommodation, the massive dome greeted me like an old friend. Climbing the stairs to the top left me breathless, but the view of red rooftops against the blue sky was worth every step. In that moment, words felt unnecessary. In Florence, even visiting art museums felt more like having a conversation than simply viewing exhibits. Botticelli at the Uffizi and the statue of David at the Accademia weren’t just sculptures or paintings. They seemed to embody the breath, thoughts, and artistry of someone from that era, coming alive right before me. At sunset, standing on the Ponte Vecchio, I felt the river breeze and watched Florence bathed in golden hues. Street musicians played, the aroma of coffee lingered, and the river flowed gently… The day in this city passed slowly and beautifully. Florence is a city you start missing the moment you leave. A place you want to walk through again, gaze upon again, and feel all over again.
