In 1612, Kuroda Nagamasa, the first lord of the Fukuoka domain, moved it to this place, and the second lord, Tadayuki, rebuilt the shrine. It is said that the name of the downtown area of ​​Fukuoka, "Tenjin", is named after this shrine. It is a beautiful vermilion-painted shrine. It is worth a visit!
