Fuzhou Shangxiahang Ancient Building Homestay Experience

Hangshe B&B satisfies my imagination of traditional China. I don't think I would use the word "retro" to describe Hangshe. I think it's more like the rebirth of an old house. The owner of the B&B made minimal changes or no changes, preserving the original appearance of the mansion. The walls are not deliberately whitewashed, and the wooden boards can be seen in the sun and rain, but the wood fragrance exudes, and you can feel the insistence of the ancestors on the materials to achieve a century-old family business. I forgot to take a photo of the room, but the entity is the same as the website, and it is honest. We are like guests who traveled through history and lived a modern life in the corner room of the attic. We are indeed guests, and we are meticulously entertained, greeted, and taken care of by the owner of the B&B (or the little helper).
