Visit Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street

Huaihe Road Pedestrian Street is 920 meters long and 22 meters wide, starting from Hefei Ring Road in the east and ending at Suzhou Road in the west. The overall layout is one axis, three districts, and eighteen alleys. During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao built a crossbow platform on the north side of Huaihe Road. During the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang in the Southern Dynasties, Mingjiao Temple was first built in Butterfly Lane. In the third year of the Song Dynasty, in memory of Bao Zheng, the people of his hometown built a temple on the moat of Huaihe Road. During the reign of Emperor Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty, Li Hongzhang and his brothers bought a lot of real estate in Li Mansion Lane on the north side of Huaihe Road, which was called "Half Street of Li Mansion" at that time.
