My Best Accommodation in Vietnam: La Siesta Hoi An

I can't count how many times I hesitated to write this review because of the excitement I feel. Just thinking about La Siesta Hoi An sends shivers down my spine. The memories of my stay there are so vivid that they still feel real. Among all the places I've stayed during my travels in Vietnam, La Siesta was undoubtedly the best. For those planning to visit, here's a detailed review to help you out. From the moment I stepped into the lobby of La Siesta, I felt it—something different, something special. It was as if I had entered a new world, completely detached from the outside. The atmosphere was unique, and the clock seemed to whisper, "Remember this moment." And then, there was the flower pot that reminded me of my wonderful time in Bali. At that moment, I thought, "I think I'm going to love this place." During check-in, a staff member named Vivi greeted me with a bright smile and a warm demeanor, inviting me to sit on the sofa. She served welcome tea and meticulously assisted with the check-in process. Her pure and kind nature reminded me of the staff I met in Ubud, Bali. It had been a while since I encountered someone whose presence alone made me feel at ease. I couldn't help but think, "La Siesta, what are you doing to me?" I entered the Classic Balcony Room I had reserved, and wow—it was perfect! A spacious room with wooden tones, a bright balcony, and a large bed. It was completely my style, and I loved it. Exploring the resort further, I was equally impressed. The large-leafed plants, beautiful flowers, decorative jars, and other ornaments all reflected La Siesta's identity. The meticulous and sophisticated ambiance captivated me entirely. I absolutely loved it. La Siesta has four swimming pools, and I'll describe them in detail: 1. The first pool is the one you see upon entering the resort from the lobby. It's shaded in the morning, making it ideal for swimming. The shallowest part is 1.2m, and the deepest is 1.8m, so be cautious with children. 2. The kids' pool has a depth of 0.8m and is located next to a restroom. 3. The pool in front of the new building offers a view of the rice fields, though currently, the view is barren due to the harvest season. The depth is uniformly 1.5m, and there's a pool bar for convenience. Shade starts to appear after 4 PM, making it a pleasant spot. 4. The main pool in front of the Temple Restaurant includes a kids' pool, a medium-depth pool, and an adult pool. The deepest part is 1.8m. Note that the water here tastes salty and is warmer than the other pools. All pools are open from 6 AM to 8 PM. From 6 AM to 9 AM, swimming is allowed but must be done quietly. You can order food at the pool in front of the lobby. I tried the Margherita pizza, but it tasted like instant pizza. Breakfast at La Siesta includes mangoes, which are served at your table. You can also order items like Eggs Benedict, dumplings, pancakes, waffles, and coffee directly from your seat. Currently, the spa is offering a 40% discount.
