Hong Kong Exhibition｜A Holiday Conversation with Picasso

Life's daily pace can be too fast, so it's good to slow down occasionally. The Picasso exhibition at M+ was so captivating that I spent over two hours there. The exhibition features a significant number of original works, thoughtfully arranged into themed sections. It showcases Picasso's paintings, sketches, sculptures, and more, along with derivative works and art influenced by him. This setup provides deeper insights into his creative process, his deconstruction of the human form, and other artistic concepts. The curation is meticulous, even including activities for children to learn about Picasso through play! The interactive guidebook explores the artist from four perspectives, such as finding animals in the exhibition, observing portraits, mimicking poses from his artworks, and creating with materials. Additionally, short films introduce his works from different periods, helping visitors better understand their meanings. Before leaving, you can witness Picasso's creative process and even join a small workshop to immerse yourself further!
