This trip was originally planned to walk around and eat, but I didn't expect to encounter the "Hong Kong Record Footprint Exhibition" in Shatin, which became the most profound memory of my trip. It turned out to be Chen Huili's non-sale promotional disc, full of girlishness; and the Raidas promotional disc with a Chinese wedding invitation style packaging and a square vinyl inside made me admire the ingenuity of the design. Madonna's 1986 transparent vinyl disc, Ren Bai Xibao's green colored vinyl, the rare red selected disc... Each one is like a work of art, quietly telling its own era. There are more than 130 covers on display. Some of them are so familiar that I felt like I had heard them on the radio yesterday, while others surprised me that music design is so layered. Nostalgic audio equipment: a physical reproduction of sound aesthetics What moved me the most was the vinyl music setting area. Machines from the 1950s and 1960s were displayed one by one, and each one is a legacy of the times. The Audio Exklusiv Das Laufwerk turntable made of marble and acrylic is heavy and solid, and the sound is so delicate when playing that it gives people goose bumps. There is also a Swiss-made Lenco B52 turntable that supports four speeds and can play vinyl records from different periods. AI record cover camera: The protagonist can be me One of the hot spots for checking in at the exhibition is this AI record cover camera. Of course, I was not to be outdone. I chose a template and posed in front of the camera in the pose I thought was the most retro - and then with a "click", I became the protagonist of my own vinyl cover! Finally, I walked to a more static electronic display area. Here, the album covers and stories behind them are displayed. The release of the album once affected the direction of Hong Kong's pop culture. This area makes people stop and think. It turns out that music is not just about hearing, it is a microcosm of an era.
