Developed in Europe, the Crystal+ Panoramic Cable Car was supervised by Ngong Ping 360’s engineering team and independent German experts. The entire research and production process took more than two years and was led by Italian and French cable car experts. It fully complies with EU standards and has obtained local cable car certification. Sigma has also allowed the "Crystal+ Panoramic Cable Car" to pass the necessary safety tests and obtain relevant certification in accordance with the requirements of the European Commission (EC). After the carriage arrived in Hong Kong, relevant tests were carried out again. When Ngong Ping 360 was first opened in 2006, it only had standard cabins. Three years later, the crystal cabins were added.
