During twilight, Meilun Creek becomes one of the most tranquil corners of Hualien in my heart. Walking along the creekside trail, the sound of flowing water and the rustling of leaves in the breeze fill the air. The setting sun slowly descends, casting a golden-orange glow over the entire creek, as if time has paused at this very moment. My favorite spot to watch the sunset is near the estuary by Peace Square. The expansive view allows you to see both the Pacific Ocean and the reflection of the setting sun. The sky transitions from blue to orange, eventually turning into a soft purple dusk, creating a serene and poetic atmosphere.
