🌄 Timeless Charm at Lindner Grand Hotel Beau Rivage, Interlaken

We stayed one night at the Lindner Grand Hotel Beau Rivage in Interlaken and loved the old-world charm this hotel brings. The moment we stepped into the grand lobby, it felt like we were transported to a different era—ornate ceilings, chandeliers, and classic European elegance all around. Our room faced the Aare River and we could even see the mountains in the distance. The view was absolutely stunning and peaceful, especially in the early morning. Though the room wasn’t the newest in terms of decor, it was well-maintained and comfortable. The bed was firm and clean, and the large windows let in plenty of natural light. Breakfast was one of the highlights. It had a good mix of local Swiss items and international selections—cheese, cold cuts, pastries, and really good fresh juice. Sitting by the window with that view while sipping our coffee was the perfect way to start the day. Location-wise, it couldn’t get better. It’s just a short walk from Interlaken Ost station and close enough to shops and restaurants, but still peaceful enough to feel like a proper retreat. The hotel has a small pool and spa area too, which we didn’t have time to use but looked cosy. Service throughout the stay was warm and professional. Staff were helpful with directions and even assisted with our luggage.
