Galata Bridge (Galata Köprüsü; Galata Bridge) spans the Golden Horn, connecting Eminönü in the Historic Peninsula (Tarihi Yarımada; Historic Peninsula) and Karaköy in Beyoglu District. Galata Bridge is a double-decker movable bridge, about 490 meters long and 42 meters wide. The upper floor is for vehicles and pedestrians, and there are restaurants and cafes on the lower floor.
