Hyangno-bong Hits Different

#summervacay Hiking up Hyangno-bong (aka Hyanglobong depending on who you ask) was such a chill yet rewarding day. This one isn’t about insane staircases or heart-pounding climbs, it’s more of a “walk, breathe, vibe” kinda mountain, and I loved that. The trail weaves through quiet forest at first, super shady and peaceful with birds chirping and that fresh mountain smell everywhere. As you get higher, the trees open up and views for days. Rolling ridgelines, little villages way down below, and sky that just feels extra wide. There’s something super calming about this mountain. It doesn’t scream for attention, it just kinda... lets you enjoy the moment. The summit’s got a chill rock area perfect for stretching out, snacking, and just soaking it all in. Not too many people around either, which made it feel even more special. If you’re in the mood for a quiet, feel-good hike with just the right amount of effort, Hyangno-bong is absolutely worth the trek. Total nature recharge.
