Sirindhorn Museum, formerly Phu Kum Khao Dinosaur Research Center In 1994, the skeleton of a plant-eating dinosaur, Phu Wiangosaurus Sirindhornae, was discovered in the area of ​​the current excavation site by Phra Khru Wichit Sahasakhun, abbot of Wat Sakkawan. Since late 1994, the dinosaur survey team from the Department of Mineral Resources has begun systematic excavations and found that Phu Kum Khao is the most complete site of plant-eating dinosaur skeletons in Thailand.
