I went to Kota Kinabalu and immediately understood why it is one of the world's top 3 sunsets as soon as I saw it. The sunset is really beautiful. There is a good mix of cheap local restaurants and tourist restaurants. It was nice to be able to eat a lot of seafood at a relatively low price!! 📍Currency Currency unit - Ringgit (RM, MYR) 1 Ringgit = 317.48 won (as of 2024.10.28.) 📍Accommodation information -Shangri-La Tanjung Aru -Jeselton Quay Premier Suites Kota Kinabalu (recommended as a cost-effective hotel on the day of the hopping tour) -The Magellan Sutera Resort 📍Restaurant information -Welcome Seafood -Ssangcheon Seafood -Yuki Bakuteh -Yuit Cheong -Kedai Kopi Efung -Old Town (cafe) -Huni Tteok House (Korean restaurant) 📍Souvenirs -Kaya Jam -Dubai Jelly, Dubai Cookies -Eureka Popcorn 📍Massage -Jasmine Spa -Glory Spa (Both are Korean businesses, so they were safe and comfortable, and super cool) 📍Tips -If you like soju, be sure to bring plenty of it because it's an Islamic country.
