If you are driving to the ancient city of Ephesus, you can stay in Kusadasi, a warm and prosperous coastal city. This trip is in the off-season. I was lucky enough to book a room with an incomparable sea view in Double Tree. Just sitting on the balcony and enjoying the beautiful scenery is worth the price. This trip is in vain.
