FAUCHON LE GRAND CAFE KYOTO (Grand Cafe Fauchon)

#Emotional Cafe I am revisiting the Fauchon Hotel Kyoto after a year. That time, afternoon tea was held at the 2F salon. This time, the evening afternoon tea, high tea, will be held at the 10F Grand Cafe. The time is 19:30. I enter the hotel entrance on the 1F at the reservation time. I tell them that I have made a reservation for high tea. Four staff members welcome me. There is also a Korean staff member at the reception. 'You came for afternoon tea last year and today you came for high tea. Thank you for coming again. Have a good time~~~!' and guides me to the elevator and bows 90 degrees until the door closes.😍 I wonder how I can receive such hospitality. The world of hotels is amazing. It's as if they already knew you would come. Fauchon's high tea first opened in October. I have a reservation for one night in Kyoto in November, so I will come. The menu consists of 8 kinds of side dishes and 3 kinds of sweets, filling a 4-tier tray. In addition, 1 of 5 main dishes is provided. There are 2 kinds of fish dishes and 3 kinds of meat dishes, including white fish & shrimp, scallops, chicken, beef, and pork. I choose the Kyoto native chicken mushroom cream sauce dish. It comes with French bread. Nomihodai includes 3 kinds of wine, including unlimited Nama beer, and you can also choose black tea or coffee. The special iced tea comes out first as a welcome drink. This is followed by savory dishes that go well with wine on a 4-tier tray, and the best 3 of the afternoon tea menu. In addition, I add Fauchon's signature lip cake as an additional order. To commemorate GD's comeback, we will apply for GD & King stationery in advance with Power Kyoto through the lettering service. Drink sparkling, red, and white in order, and have two glasses of Nama Beer. It goes perfectly with Kyoto native chicken. The signature cake is 100% mousse, but it is not greasy at all and is soft and moist, with a heart-pounding taste. For dessert, I ordered Dazzling and enjoyed it as usual. The server in charge and I were the only ones left, so I took all the alcohol.🙏 I must have been having fun talking, but I would like to thank the restaurant staff who cheerfully chimed in without showing any signs of displeasure.
