👨👩👧👦Attention parents visiting Lingshui with kids! I recently checked out Fuli Ocean Joy World and stayed at the adjoining Hyatt Hotel. There were both pleasant surprises and disappointments, so I'm sharing my honest experience with you all! 📍Location & Check-in Experience The Hyatt Hotel looks just like a fairy tale castle! With its wrap-around design, most rooms face the sea 🌊. The butler service is incredibly attentive - they added me on WeChat a day before arrival to confirm the number of guests and arrival time, and even sent a detailed schedule of hotel activities 📅. A two-night stay includes breakfast, two days of park admission tickets 🎫, plus one train ride - excellent value for money! 👍Highlights ✅ Abundant family activities: The hotel has play and climbing facilities where kids can burn energy all day; there's also animal feeding for heartwarming close encounters. Finding crabs 🦀️ on the beach at night is super fun! If you're staying over the weekend, don't miss the spectacular fireworks show 🎆 at Ocean Joy World - the atmosphere is amazing! ✅ Extensive breakfast and lunch: Breakfast is served during two extended time slots with a good variety of options, though I recommend going early when it's crowded. ✅ Convenient park access: The complimentary tickets + train provide seamless access to Ocean Joy World. Take the train 🚂 from the hotel directly to the park entrance, and when tired, return to your room through the hotel's exclusive passage - incredibly convenient! ❌Things to Watch Out For ⚠️ Remote location: If you want to eat outside the hotel, be prepared - it takes at least an hour by car to find restaurants. I recommend stocking up on snacks in advance! ⚠️ Disappointing beach: The hotel beach has dirty, black sand. Dig just a few scoops and you'll hit black soil, likely due to pollution. Not recommended if you want to play in the sand! ⚠️ Train experience: The train is extremely slow! Only the section from the hotel to the park entrance offers sea views. Other sections within the park don't have much scenery. I suggest only taking it one way and using the hotel passage for the return trip to save time. 💡 Useful Tips 1️⃣ If you want to participate in hotel activities, confirm times with your butler in advance and book popular events early! 2️⃣ If staying over the weekend, definitely catch the Ocean World fireworks show - it's spectacular! 3️⃣ Bring plenty of snacks for your kids as dining options nearby are limited. Overall, the hotel activities and Ocean World are great for family trips, but the beach and surrounding amenities are definitely lacking 😔. Choose according to your needs! If you're bringing kids just to enjoy the hotel and theme park, it's definitely worth it!
